An Examination of the Narconon Program
Narconon's Drug Education and Prevention
Narconon has been providing drug education and prevention presentations to young people all over the world for more than two decades. These live presentations (as well as videos from Friends of Narconon) present additional information to kids about drugs in a way that they enjoy as well as respond to. While there have been some upsets about misinformation regarding these presentations, there are literally hundreds of thousands of comments and postive feedback questionnaires from students, and hundreds of letters of support and thanks from teachers and other professionals. Here is a small sampling of some of the letters of support.-
"I reviewed the Narconon materials: DVD's, literature, lesson plans, past and present satisfation survey results, and some of the initial raw data collected from California and more recently Hawaii schools. I am very impressed that the Narconon Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention efforts are well received by students and teachers alike. The initial tabulations of the raw data appear favorable to maintaining or motivating drug abstinence in youngsters of various ethnic backgrounds...I am also puzzled as to several newspaper articles that focus on the support that Narconon receives from the Church of Scientology. Many private, public, charitable and religious organizations support drug-free living." (click here to read the full letter)

The Narconon Drug Education and Prevention Program has helped literally millions of kids over the years in several continents, both in live presentations and through educational videos. You can contact any Narconon center that offers educational presentations, and ask them for some reference letters and kids surveys - they speak for themselves. Here is an exerpt from a thank you letter from Narconon presentations that were delivered in the DEA museum in Times Square, NY.
"You all have been a major part in the success that we have had and the overwhelming response to the educational program. The schools have really enjoyed the presentations that you all have provided."
